*ANAMBRA GUBER: RELIABLE VICTORY MOVEMENT RALLIES BEHIND MOGHALU’S GOVERNORSHIP MISSION*
NNEWI – The Labour Party Governorship candidate, Chief Dr. George Moghalu (Ohamadike), has received the official endorsement of the Reliable Victory Movement (RVM), a politically active grassroots organization with coordinators spread across the 326 wards of Anambra State.
Speaking during a strategic meeting with RVM leaders at his residence, Dr. Moghalu reiterated his commitment to restoring dignity, trust, and good governance to Anambra State. He emphasized that his candidacy is not a personal ambition, but a divine mandate and a collective responsibility.
“The fight to change the story of our state is not mine alone,” Moghalu said. “We all want things to be better, yet things are getting worse. To win against an incumbent will take strategy, unity, and faith—but I believe strongly that the hand of God is in this journey. Whoever will be governor has already been settled in the spiritual realm; we are only aligning ourselves with divine purpose.”
The former Managing Director of NIWA lamented the growing distrust in political leadership, saying the people have lost faith in government due to years of unfulfilled promises. He pledged to restore that trust through transparent, God-fearing leadership.
“Many see every politician as a thief or fraudster, but that perception can change—and it will. We must serve with the fear of God and restore integrity to governance. I won’t let our people down,” he said.
Moghalu also thanked the RVM for their decision to align with his movement, assuring them of open collaboration and mutual respect throughout the campaign.
“Common politicians think about the next election, but visionary leaders think about the next generation. That’s the category I want to belong to. This project is for all of us. Let’s go as a team, and we will surely return to thank God for victory.”
Responding on behalf of the Reliable Victory Movement, the group’s leader, Hon. Chinedu Odozor (Omenife), described the decision to support Moghalu as a homecoming, citing long-standing admiration dating back to Moghalu’s ANPP days.
“Our group has always admired your leadership. We are structured across all 30 state constituencies, and our people feel this is the right direction. We’re here to work with you and celebrate the change that’s coming,” Odozor said.
He also noted that RVM will soon mark its fifth anniversary, which will serve as a major mobilization platform ahead of the November election.
