His Excellency Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has awarded 81 Roads contracts within Enugu Metropolitan area, and 10 new roads outside Enugu metropolis.
The construction is set to commence by September ending including 2 Flyovers at Holy Ghost and Abakpa Junction. Dualisation of Trans-Ekulu to GRA Road, Dualisation of Ugwuogo to Nsukka Road, Dualisation of New Heaven extension high way to Ebonyi State.
The 10 new roads will capture the following areas as follows:
Owo to Ihe Amufu, Isi-Uzo LGA. To be dualized with street lights.
Idodo to Amagu Nze, Akpugo in Nkanu East LGA.
Umabi Udi link road to Isuochi, Abia State. Captured
Oji River to Ufuma, Anambra State.
Uzouwani old Onitsha road, to Anambra State.
Nsukka Edem road to Benue and Kogi States boaders.
Two flyover to be introduced at Abakpa junction, Old park, holy ghost axis within Enugu metropolis.
GRA road, from Shoprite roundabout, to Nwodo, Bilants to Damijha, down to Nowas to Ugwuogo Nike, will receive dualization, completely. That dualization will also capture Penoks, down to Abapka Nike roads.
The birth of Coal City Electricity Distribution Company (CCEDC), with cheaper and affordable tariff is on the way.
Please we still need more infrastructures in Amechi Idodo that will help Amechi Idodo to develop faster please.

My town (Akpawfu)have not benefited from the government of Enugu state since the inception of democracy in 1999 in terms of road tired or not neither do we have any records of government presence in the community we are only remember at election time .
