Let me first and foremost congratulate the newly sworn-in Council Chairmen in the 17 Local Government Areas in the State and the 260 Ward Councillors in the State.
You have been elected and given this opportunity because of grace and your hard work.
I therefore expect you to work hard to improve the living standard of your people.
To the Local Government Chairmen, you must, in the course of your stay in office, execute some laudable projects that can stand the test of time for the overall interest of your people.
My special congratulations go to the newly sworn-in Council Chairman of Nkanu West Local Government Area and his ward Councillors.
Though we belong to different political parties, I must assure you that I will partner with you to develop and transform our Ward and Local Government to great heights.
