Notably, Enugu State began attracting the interest the of foreign and local investors when world of the state art facilities through delibrate policies and programmes aimed at advancing infrastructures, socio-economic and creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive was mastermind by then administration of Rt.Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi from 2015 to 2023.
And to his credit, many top politicians in Nigeria have described His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the most successful Governor in the class of Governors in his generation especially from (2015 -2023).
It was and still on record that during his tenure as Enugu State Governor, he stood out from the pack.
According to political pundit, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi remains a prominent Governor of our time and still has a lot more to offer.
From education to science and technology, health, the economy and security, back then, Enugu State like many others were in turmoil as a results of insufficiency of funds to execute capital projects but Governor Ugwuanyi made the most progress out of all other Governors to reposition our dear State.
Some of the huge transformations he achieved came as a result of assembling technocrats in the State to examine each sector of the economy and provide a workable solution to its unique challenges.
In the education sector, His administration was tasked with figuring out how to build more classrooms to the existing ones, and he rosed to the challenges by erecting new elementary, junior and senior secondary schools to address this issue.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi led government consequently embarked on human capital development to guarantee that pupils and students received the finest education possible with series of staff training and development programmes in various courses through seminars and workshops.
