Enugu State election Petition Tribunal has dismissed the petition of Hon. Ibenaku Onoh of People’s Democratic Party, PDP against the election of Hon. Johnson Samuel Ani as hourable member representing Enugu North Constituency at State House of Assembly.
The Tribunal held that the petitioner failed to prove his case that the election was marred by irregularities.
The panel also held that the petitioner failed to provide any evidence to support the claim that Johnson isn’t qualified to stand for the election.
The panel averred that the witnesses called by the petitioner couldn’t specify the polling units where elections didn’t hold.
